Moose League Cancelled for Today

Moose League was cancelled due to inclement weather today but will pick up again next week with the exact some matches and times. Playoffs will start the week after next. Congratulations to John Davidson on winning our Moose League draw, a trip to Beantown to watch the Red Sox this September. Thanks to Moosehead for their support! Check out League page for up-to-date scores.

Jack Estey

Sunday, August 21st marked our 9th Annual Jack Estey Golf Tournament. Thanks to the 60+ that came out to enjoy the camaraderie and festive nature. Mr Estey was a monumental part of the club's history having a hand in the expansion of the clubhouse and creation of the back nine. Our bridge on #14 lives as a fixture of his goodwill and dedication towards Miramichi Golf & Country Club. Next year will mark the 10th and final year of this particular event but we're excited to see how we can celebrate in the years to come. Thanks Jack!

Tragically Hip Concert

On Saturday night we celebrated Canada's unofficial band and their farewell. We had an estimated 1000 people show up to witness The Hip play for almost three hours. It was an emotional time for many, we want to thank those that volunteered including Brenda Daigle, Joyce Buckley, Tina Richardson and Derek Dedam. A special thanks to all of our great staff members, the City of Miramichi and Megas Productions from Fredericton. I think it was an event that we won't soon forget.

Great Tourneys This Weekend

We hope you get a chance to play in one of our great tournaments this weekend. Tomorrow is the Gerry Cormier Memorial, aptly names after our late Mayor followed by our annual Scotty Knowles Memorial tournament Friday. Sunday marks another event re-named this year, the Lucy Estey Invitational inviting ladies from around the province to come and enjoy a Player of the Year event.
