Morgan Matchett has deep roots in the local golf community as a member of the club for over 20 years. She has won 5 provincial championships throughout her junior and amateur golf career, a 14 time member of Team New Brunswick, and was a member of the golf teams at both Wayland Baptist University and Jacksonville University. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville University, she went on to get a Bachelor of Education at University of New Brunswick.
Morgan has been teaching high school for the past six years but is now in her first year of pursuing a career as a PGA Golf Professional. As a teacher by trade, she believes in differentiating instruction methods to find an approach that works for each individual student. Morgan’s goals are to maintain an engaging and enjoyable learning environment while teaching the game to a variety of skill levels.

Teran Newell
Assistant Professional
PGA of Canada
Teran is a dedicated professional golf instructor with a passion for helping players of all levels grow their skills and deepen their enjoyment of the game. Born in Barrington, Nova Scotia, Teran developed a strong competitive foundation early on, representing Team Nova Scotia on three occasions and earning the title of 2023 Newfoundland Amateur Champion.
Teran further honed his game while attending Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa, where he combined competitive play with a growing interest in coaching and player development. In April 2025, he officially joined the PGA of Canada, marking the next step in his professional journey. That same year, he delivered an impressive performance at the PGA of Canada Nationals, finishing tied for 15th.
With a well-rounded background in competition and training, Teran brings a thoughtful, personalized approach to instruction. His goal is simple: to help golfers of all skill levels improve their performance, build confidence, and truly enjoy the great game of golf.

Over a 50-year career Greg has held Head Professional titles at various locations across North America: St. Andrews, NB - Whistler, BC - New Port Richey, FL - Wallace, NS.
“Throughout my career I have enjoyed all aspects of the golf industry. My true passion has been teaching golf to ALL levels of golfers. I have held various roles at the many clubs I have worked and also enjoyed a modest career on competitive side of professional golf.”
Greg served on the Atlantic Zone Board from 1978-1990, holding various positions including 4 years as the associations President. Hosted the PGA of Canada Club Professional Championship while Head Professional at The Algonquin Golf Club in 1989. Finished low Maritime Professional at PGA of Canada National Championship held in 1983 at Royal Quebec - Lee Trevino was the Champion.
