MG&CC Policies
Dress Code
No ripped, torn, or soiled denims and no cutoffs
Soft spike golf shoes or running shoes only
Driving Range
MG&CC will not be held liable for any errant golf balls off the driving range or holes adjacent to private property. Users of the driving range and on course players shall be held responsible for any damage caused by their errant golf balls.
Extreme Weather
The Pro Shop Attendant will monitor and blow the air horn to alert golfers and employees of extreme weather in the area
Once the air horn has been blown one time, all golfers must stop play and seek safety indoors (pro shop, clubhouse or on course washrooms on holes # 5 and 14)
No play may resume until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder, sign of lightning or two blows of the air horn
Power Carts
All power cart rentals are only permitted to persons over the age of 16 with a valid driver’s license
Rain Checks
Any guests or members are entitled to a rain check for either green fees or power cart usage should their play be halted. An 18 hole rain cheque will be issued if play has stopped before the 7th hole. A 9 hole rain cheque will be issued if play is stopped before the 12th hole.
Tee Time Bookings
Green fee players residing more than 100km from the MG&CC may book 18 hole green fees more than 3 days in advance
Non-member groups of more than 8 golfers may book more than 7 days in advance
There will be no green fee bookings on weekends from opening until 11:00am from the beginning of the season until the Tuesday following Victoria Day
